You get so much 'feel-good' from delivering a lovely, freshly cooked meal to an elderly person who can't get out to the shops or can no longer manage to cook for themselves. Our volunteers just give one-hour whenever they can and join a group of lovely other people just like you. We aim to have fun and enjoy bringing a friendly smile to sometimes lonely and isolated older Hartlepool folk.

Volunteering for Meal-on-Wheels has become

the highlight of my week !!
